Our Services

Looking For A Heat Pump Specialist?

Whilst there are many new entrants to the heat pump market, our engineers have been installing, servicing, and repairing heat pumps since 2006 – ground source and air source heat pumps.

Our team has seen and done it all – from working in domestic plant rooms large enough to power a ship, to custom repairs in small plantroom spaces, to simply replacing an air source heat pump.

The complexity of a heat pump system presents a challenge for regular heating engineers. Our specialist engineers are qualified to work on refrigerant circuits and undertake any type of repair to all types of heat pumps. With access to competitive pricing on heat pump spare parts our friendly engineers can get most broken heat pumps up and running in no time.

We will not ‘attempt’ to fix a heat pump if it is deemed to be beyond repair; at this point we would rather recommend replacing the heat pump than see you incurring more ongoing costs.

Need To Service Your Heat Pump?

Whether you need a one-off heat pump service or a longer-term maintenance contract for annual servicing and support, contact us today.

Our flexible contract options cater for all types, quantities, and configurations of heat pumps and budgets.

Keeping your heat pump well maintained reduces the likelihood of breakdown or failure and allows potential problems to be spotted and remedied at an early stage, thereby protecting your investment, by maintaining your heat pump, in line with manufacturer’s guidelines.

Regular maintenance will ensure your heat pump system is running as efficiently as possible which is key to its success. When efficiency drops, temperatures go down and running costs go up.

We have four contract options which are customised to suit your specific heat pump system and needs:

  • Platinum – two visits per annum, reduced call out rates, plus out of hours support
  • Gold – one visit per annum, reduced call out rates, plus out of hours support
  • Silver – one visit per annum, reduced call out rates, plus limited out of hours support
  • Bronze – one visit per annum, plus reduced call out rates

A pre-contract ‘Initial Inspection’ will review your system and includes:

  • A general inspection of the heat pump
  • Emptying and cleaning filters
  • System tests to identify any potential problems
  • Pipework inspection
  • Review of alarm logs
  • Checking the bacteria levels
  • Checking expansion vessels and pumps
  • Adjustment to optimise the performance and efficiency of your heat pump

All our heat pump servicing work is meticulously documented and stored on our encrypted internal server. This means that we can track the history of your heat pump system, saving you time and hassle, whilst ensuring that all your data is kept secure. If you would like to discuss your heat pump service options, or you are considering a maintenance contract, you can contact us during office hours.

Need To Fix Your Heat Pump?

Heat pumps that have not been maintained or properly installed can breakdown or fail completely. An ‘Initial Inspection’ will review your system to determine the repair needed and identify the possible cause of the breakdown or failure of the heat pump.

Our certified engineers have been repairing heat pumps for over a decade across England and Wales covering a wide range of emergency problems in a timely and effective manner.

There is no job too big or too small and we have extensive experience across a multitude of heat pump manufacturers, makes and models, including Ecoforest, Nibe, CTC, IVT – Greenline, Viessmann, Hitachi, Dimplex, Steibel Eltron, Nilan, Worcester Bosch, Mitsubishi and more.

If your heat pump has broken down and you require emergency breakdown assistance call us during office hours for immediate telephone support to ensure that your system is made safe and help you activate any back-up system, you have in place. An engineer will then be deployed appropriately to investigate the fault and establish the best solution.

From a faulty sensor to a failed compressor, in many instances, a heat pump breakdown is rectifiable with just one visit. However, if further heat pump repair work is required, our engineer will give you a detailed breakdown of what is needed to get your system back up and running, ensuring that you are fully aware of the costs and timescales involved.

Preventative measures are more beneficial to your system and most breakdowns can be avoided with a heat pump maintenance contract which provides regular servicing of the system.

Need To Replace Your Heat Pump?

The most common reasons for heat pumps failing are:

  1. The incorrect sizing of the heat pump to the heat demand of the property, or
  2. The incorrect sizing of the ground array to the heat pump

In the worst scenario, both are incorrectly sized! We have seen it all … installers who have ‘saved the customer costs’ by selling undersized heat pumps and/or specifying smaller collector arrays. Over time, each of these aspects will cause degradation of the heat pump performance until permanent failure occurs.

In most cases, no heat loss survey was conducted, hence the system was doomed from the beginning.

Repairing failing heat pumps can become very costly and most inconvenient. To avoid your heat pump becoming a burden, and only when necessary, our engineers would recommend replacing the heat pump or upgrading the collector array – or both.

We offer detailed surveys of any heat pump installation including heat loss and energy assessments, following which recommendations are made and costs are attached to those recommendations.

Contact us soon, should you be concerned about the life of your heat pump and would like to consider any of the services or products listed.
